A leader in Convergence, MIT’s Koch Institute for Integrative Cancer Research, on June 16, presented its 16th Annual Cancer Research Symposium: Convergence of Science and Engineering in Cancer. The symposium featured cutting edge Convergence research and insights from leading experts into the impact of Convergence on health.
Over 100 scientists and engineers signed a letter, published in the February 10th, 2017 issue of Science, encouraging the new administration to embrace Convergence research to advance health and healthcare.
The Biological Technology Office (BTO) is DARPA’s technology arm focused on leveraging advances in engineering and information sciences to drive and reshape biotechnology for technological advantage. BTO is responsible for all neurotechnology, human-machine interface, human performance, infectious disease, and synthetic biology programs within the agency.
